Threatened Species: The following list includes all mammals which occur in Armenia and are rated as Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) or Vulnerable (VU) in the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals

  • Critically Endangered:
    • Armenian Birch Mouse (Sicista armenica).
  • Endangered:
    • Dahl's Jird (Meriones dahli). (Endemic to Armenia.)
    • Schaub's Myotis (Myotis schaubi).  
  • Vulnerable:
    • Argali (Ovis ammon).
    • Eurasian Otter (Lutra lutra). 
    • Mehely's Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus mehelyi).
    • Mouflon (or Urial) (Ovis orientalis).
    • Wild Goat (Capra aegagrus).
