Threatened Species: The following list includes all mammals which occur in Saudi Arabia and are rated as Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) or Vulnerable (VU) in the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals.

Endangered:
- Arabian Jird (Meriones arimalius).
- Arabian Oryx (Oryx leucoryx). (Re-introduced populations.)
- Nubian Ibex (Capra nubiana).
Vulnerable:
- Dugong (Dugong dugon).
- Geoffroy's Bat (Myotis emarginatus).
- Lesser Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus hipposideros).
- Sind Bat (Eptesicus nasutus).
