  UbiquitousExisting or present everywhere.Ultrasonic, UltrasoundSound that has a frequency higher than the highest frequency a human ear
    can hear - about 20,000 Hz.UnderstoryThe layer of shrubs,  herbs and small trees beneath the forest canopy.  The lower level of vegetation in a two-level vegetation
    system (see overstory). UngulateA hoofed mammal which is usually adapted for running. Includes deer, cattle, gazelles,
    horses, elephants, and hyraxes. Most are large herbivores.
    The term no longer has taxonomic significance.
